Anonymous asked: 'Streetlife Serenade' is, in Joel's own words, the worst album he ever made. His then-manager and the Columbia Records execs hurried him into the studio before he had a chance to write new material after extensive touring for 'Piano Man. The result was a measly 7 songs and two [!] instrumental tracks, all drizzled with moog synthesizer - a brand new instrument at the time. He said he wished this one was never released. The only standout is 'The Entertainer'.
