Anonymous asked: After three records, what are your feelings about Billy Joel?
Let me answer your question with a question. Almost all of the people asking me questions are anonymous. Should I take this to mean you are simply not Tumblr users or that you are Billy Joel stealthy following along?
I’m going to assume the former and hope for the latter.
When it comes to my standing as a Billy Joel fan I am still undecided. Overall there have been more enjoyable songs than I expected but a lot of things I really disliked too. The best way to express my feelings for this project right now is to say that at this stage of Billy Joel’s career I like the person writing the songs more than I like most of the actual songs.
We’ll see if this flips once I get into the prime of Billy Joel’s career starting with the next record.
